Description
Wow! What a piece of history… we have been advised by Alexander that this 103 could date from the 1920s! This is a gold brass full double horn with a fixed bell and lacquer. It has beautifully engraved valve caps unlike any design we have seen before. 3 out of 4 rotors have been plated at some point which gives the valves compression that is better than one would expect on an instrument of this age. The horn plays well and would suit an Alexander enthusiast who would like to own a bit of horn history. It comes with a fiberglass fixed bell case.
