Description
An Alexander model 103 full double horn – the classic german mainstream double horn of the last 100 years.
This one is made from yellow brass, and has a lacquered finish. It’s a screw bell so very portable and is well looked after. It is around 20 years old and there is some evidence of repairs over that time – on the plus side this generally means that someone has loved playing it!
It has a nice contained sound but will certainly “open up” in large orchestral works when needed…
