Description
Wow – a monster of a horn! This Conn 8D Elkhart has an extra large bore and is in nickel silver.
The bells on these horns were made very thin at the time which give the horn that unique sheen and sizzle on the sound.
This has spent many years playing in orchestras such as the LSO and the BBCNOW – it must be on countless recordings and soundtracks.
Customised with a Patterson leadpipe but actually comes with another couple of leadpipes to alter the response that can be fitted if required.
