Kruspe’s rarely come in better condition than this. We believe this dates from around 1920.
The seller tells us this came from the US where it had a full refurbishment including a full valve rebuild. This is a horn that has been wonderfully well cared for over the years.
Valve pressures are very good.
it has a beautiful original fixed bell with engraving and a very pretty gusset. The thumb lever has been altered to make the position more comfortable.
The main asset this horn has is the sound that it is capable of making. A beautiful rich tone and plenty of sound created by the large bell taper.
This lovely horn needs someone to take it on and really care for it for the next part of its history – it has lots of life left!
