Description
This is a mid-90s Paxman 25M full double F/Bb in yellow brass with a screw bell. We’ve noticed that medium bell size Paxman horns continue to be very popular with students, amateurs and professionals because they are such great all-round instruments. The 25 is a dual bore instrument meaning that the F side is made from larger bore tube with the result of evening the tone between the two sides of the horn and creating a lovely open F side in the low register. This example is unlacquered and comes with a screw bell case.
