Description
This is Paxman old-style model 40 Bb/F alto was built in 1985. The large bell taper and gold brass make it easier to produce a full rich sound – even up in the stratosphere!
There are many fans of this older wrap model 40. This one is lacquered, with some lacquer wear in the usual places and has previously been cut with an Alexander screw ring.
It comes with a screw bell Eastman case (affectionately known as a “Darth Vader” case!).
