Description
This Paxman model 40 Bb/F alto dates from 1991. It was originally made for Michael Thompson (see photo) and has since been played in the sections of the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic and Welsh National Opera! Just imagine the amazing music this horn has played courtesy of some amazing players!
Yellow brass, screw bell and medium bell taper, this horn was fully overhauled and re-lacquered a few years ago and has been very well cared for since then. It comes with a Bonna MB5 Compact case.
