Description
There are quite a number of players who really enjoy the added options a C valve can offer – security and tuning (including top D should you need it!). Ifor James was a fan and indeed had his own Paxman model 13. Lovely and light but with a good weight of sound, we have seen a resurgence in popularity of single horns in the past decade.
This Paxman was built in 1979 and is silver plated (the mouthpipe is unplated and therefore possibly a replacement) and includes a duck’s foot for added left hand support. There is also a stopping valve/F extension slide for lots of additional playing options. It has a fixed, medium bell and comes in a fixed bell Bags case (older model).
