Description

It is so interesting seeing 1960s Paxman instruments– we have a second Ted Adams-built single Bb horn for sale. We’ve seen a few of this age of Paxman over the years (we once owned a horn from this era ourselves) and really like the way the 3rd slide is tucked around the back of the instrument.

This is a lovely example of one of this era of British-made horns – in great condition this horn’s specs are: gold brass, unlacquered, fixed bell with stopping valve. The bell taper is quite large (built before Paxman had a range of different bell tapers) and valves have a good pop!

If you are looking for something lighter to hold or maybe if you are a Paxman enthusiast this could be the horn for you! Equally charming is the corduroy-lined, croc skin case!
