The Alex 503 is a good quality fully German-made double horn which might appeal to those who want an Alex but can’t stretch to a 103 or 1103.
It is yellow brass throughout, lacquered, fixed bell and comes with a hard case.
It has a medium bore bell with an adjustable thumb lever which makes it ideal for younger players as well as any adults out there!
This one has been fully serviced and the lacquer is in quite good shape – just a little lacquer wear from stays that have been repaired.
It plays freely and responds well in all registers!
