This 103 is a yellow brass, unlacquered screw bell and dating from the 1970s. This has had plenty of playing already but is in good condition for its age and well looked after. This unlacquered instrument has been patched in the usual place, the screw ring has been soldered together so should be treated as a fixed bell instrument, a new screw ring could be attached in due course and the seller may help with the cost of this…. Valve compression is relatively low, but the horn still plays very nicely.
