Schmid Bb/Eb alto

Description

Such a well looked-after instrument in top condition – with the very interesting feature of a mouthpipe that comes round the front of the spout, allowing for a very compact left hand position – especially considering the addition of an adjustable finger hook.

This yellow brass, lacquered instrument is very light in weight, as one would expect from any Schmid horn. It includes a Schmid flipper left hand support and a medium, spun flare in yellow brass. With the Eb alto providing a different tone to an F alto some players may be unsure as to whether this will work for them. This horn comes with a Bonna case – serviceable but has seen considerable use.
