Description
Now here we have an horn that really doesn’t come up very often. An Alex, but not a 103 – a 102, making this a professional level compensating double.
Yellow brass, unlacquered, screw bell it plays nicely. Compression is average on the valves, so the Bb horn is great and the F horn is fine without being outstanding. It would work well as a high horn players instrument or perhaps a lucky child’s first compensator – it has more class than a chinese made equivalent!
It also comes with an extra slide that puts the Bb horn into E at will allowing for E without transposing if played on the Bb horn.
