Description
This is an example of the ever popular 1103 but in its 1104 iteration that includes a handstopping valve to allow for transposition free stopping.
Yellow brass, lacquered, fixed bell and in reasonable condition, there is some lacquer wear to notice.
The stop valve can either be an E transposition valve or a stop valve. At present only the E valve legs are with the horn. The stopping extensions would need buying – we could of course arrange this if they are needed.
To play this is just like a 1103 – free blowing, projecting and lively but with a little more weight to the horn and slightly more to the sound as well.
