Description

This Alexander 103 full double most likely dates from the early to mid part of the 1970s and was played by a former member of the horn section of the Royal Opera House Orchestra, who played with the orchestra for 30 years.

This horn looks well used however the patchy lacquer is not a fair reflection of the horn’s good valve compression. There are a couple of patches where the left hand holds the horn and the bell screw thread is a little worn but this instrument has plenty of life left in it. If you’ve always wanted to play and Alexander 103 but felt that your budget couldn’t quite stretch to it, it maybe time to think again!

This horn is being sold with the original suitcase-style Alexander case.
