Description
This is a gold brass Bb/f alto in lovely condition. From the 1970s, this horn has a great history – being played by principal horns in both the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Opera House.
Re-lacquered and well looked after, this is an instrument with a warm, yet open sound that must have played some amazing pieces of music in some of the best concert halls and venues around the world. With a screw bell ( and a flare that is most likely newer than the rest of the horn) this gorgeous looking horn should match very well with a double of a similar age (just in case you wanted to add to or start an Alexander collection!).
