Description
This is an Alexander model 90. A light little single Bb horn ideal for chamber music or smaller scale works. Screw bell, silver plated and with an A/+ valve.
This horn has some history! Marked on the bell it has HMAK 1967 and a crown symbol. HMAK stands for Army Materiel Command (Danish: Hærens Materielkommando), who were responsible for supplying the royal Danish army with anything from tanks and weapons to sunglasses and chocolate. In 1967 they supplied them with this excellent horn!
Sold with original rectangular hard case.
Very free blowing but with a little extra weight from the silver plating – come and give it a try.
