Description
The well known Conn model 8D – these horns make a huge sound!
Nickel silver and very large bore – this would be fantastic for a player striving to make a lot of noise!
This one was built in 1953 in the Elkhart period where top quality was assured.
Valves have been re-plated to improve compression and bell cut with a Paxman ring.
Plenty of repair work has been carried out on this horn over the years but it still a lovely free blowing instrument that would suit a big player!
