Description

This is a lovely old instrument made by Ed. Kruspe before the end of World War I.

It has been very well looked after and is an antique/collectors horn for ocassional or period playing rather than for daily use.

This gold brass, fixed bell instrument has lacquer and a garland bell. The beautifully engraved Ed Kruspe mark bears the Hoflieferant (Purveyor to the Court) engraving as well as the engraved name, B Peruzzi – probably signifying a player.

The case for this horn is also something to behold – a wooden, fixed bell case, strikingly lined with paisley print fabric!
