Description
Built in 1986 (a wonderful Paxman era), this Paxman 40 descant horn has a medium taper and detachable bell. There is evidence of repair to the spout where it has been twisted in the past. however everything else about this horn is great. Valve pressures are ok, without detriment to the playing.
The horn is yellow brass – with a lovely clear sound – and is lacquered. It comes with a screw bell backpack case.
