Description
This is a historic Raoux instrument with a removable set of Brown valves. Brown were the most respected of valve makers and were often paired with Raoux horn when possible. There are still signs in the flare of the original and beautiful red and gold paint.
Marked as A.Raoux Paris on the garland this horn is without the AR poinçon and the lack of Millereau name dates the horn to before 1878 making this an early and much sought-after version. The horn comes with and a set of mixed crooks in keys: Bb, A, Ab, G, F, E, Eb, D and C.
