Schmid Compensating Triple

This Schmid compensating triple really is the business. Gold brass, lacquer, a gorgeous gold brass hand-hammered flare with garland, this one has F, Bb and Eb alto. This triple is as light, if not lighter than the average full double  – weighing in at just over 2.3Kg. Gold brass, for a richness of tone, screw bell for ease of travel… and although it has some lacquer wear to the areas where the horn is held (left hand nickel guards/top of the spout by the napkin ring ferrule) we notice that a new horn like this is going to cost in the region of £17,000!

This horn comes with an MB5 case – a little worn, but it does the job!
