So many players love the light, ergonomic elements of playing Schmid horns. Horn playing is difficult enough – why not be more comfortable while you do it?!
This Schmid full double is being sold at a lower price than we’d usually see for a Schmid horn due to the removal of the lacquer after the horn was damaged by being in an acidic environment. Gold brass for a warmer tone, with a lovely gold brass, hand hammere, medium, garland flare. There are a few places where the lacquer is still visible on the instrument, however this does not effect the way it plays.
If you’ve ever thought you’d like to own a Schmid but have considered it out of your price range, then this might be the horn for you!
