Schmid Flare

Description

This Schmid flare is in lovely condition. It’s a wide taper flare made in gold brass, spun and with a nickel garland.

This will provide a warmer, less bright tone than a yellow equivalent. With regards to the garland… this is what the Schmid website says:

“The garland causes a bit more resistance, and a somewhat rounder sound that gets brassy later, but more suddenly. Without the garland the transition to a brassy sound is more even. “
