Description
This is a Schmid natural horn (after Ignaz Lorenz – C.1860). This one has all the bells and whistles: crooks and coupler for keys from high C to low Bb, hand-hammered, garland flare, a natural horn Bonna case. It has also been converted to screw bell, so would be possible to take it on a flight with a couple of crooks in a smaller case if required.
Unlacquered as standard and including lovely attention to details such as the oak leaf bell stay, this really is a very fine looking instrument. We would suggest coming to try it to see if you can make it sound as fine as it looks!!
