This is a first for us – a second hand Woodhead & Woodhead available on the open market for immediate purchase.
This fantastic horn is being sold extremely regretfully by a uk player entirely for cashflow reasons. In fact they are devastated at having to part with it. It is only 5 months old.
The horn is our model that feels most free blowing and symphonic in style. Standard (not compact) valve section, large leadpipe taper, screw bell. The horn is unlacquered but with lacquered flare inner.
This model is played by a couple of players in the London Philharmonic amongst other UK professionals.
