This Yamaha model 668 is a nickel, detached-bell version of the mark II model.
Used for professional work, including the Lord of the Rings soundtrack and many, many major symphonies with one of the world’s best orchestras, this horn would suit a whole range of players, from students (grade 6 and up) to professionals.
Nickel gives a slightly brighter tone, while the larger bell taper helps create a larger, more projected sound.
It comes with the original suitcase-style Yamaha case.
