Description
The H179 one of Holton’s successful Farkas model horns. The screw bell version of this fixed bell instrument is now one of only 2 different brass colour/type combinations that make up Holton’s French horn range. The large taper is designed to create a dark, rich tone with the nickel giving the horn an immediate response.
This particular example is in very good condition with only very minor scuffs in evidence.
This is a good solid instrument to own and play, whether you are playing the solo or beefing out the bottom notes!!
