Description

The model 27 is Paxman’s first horn to stray from the Merewether system for half a decade. This instrument is based on the Geyer wrap instruments that are so popular across the pond. This style of horn tends to have a free-blowing feel  – if you are interested, have a  listen to the glorious recordings from Chicago and San Fransisco for some idea of the type of sound you might expect.

This particular horn is unlacquered, yellow brass with compact valves (for lightness) and an ML bell taper.

This horn is only a few years old and in excellent condition. It comes with a backpack case.
