Hoyer single Bb Wagner tuba in gold brass. This is played just like a single Bb horn but the thumb valve adds a 4th to allow for the open notes of the F horn. (More in tune Cs and Gs etc)
This instrument has spent much of its life in and out of recording sessions and was one of the tubas that could be heard on Danny Elfman’s soundtrack to “Sleepy Hollow”
