Paxman 40L

Description

This Paxman 40 is in beautiful condition and has recently been relacquered and fully overhauled.

It dates from the 1980s and is all UK made –  with a great ring to the sound.

Photos show the horn fixed bell but it has recently been converted to screw bell with barely any lacquer loss – updated photos to appear soon, but still in splendid condition.

Made from gold brass this horn makes a darker than average sound while allowing for pinpoint accuracy in the upper register – who doesn’t want that!
