A quality Schmid Bb/F alto but from his very early days – likely 1980s.
This is made with a slightly heavier bell and valve section than his recent instruments and has a good weight of sound.
Excellent valve compression and a bargain price for an alto.
If you think that you already know schmid horns you won’t know this one. It definitely has a slightly different feel.
