Description
The Alexander model 104 is a full double horn with an additional stopping valve. Very useful for those of us that don’t like having to sight read, transpose and hand-stop at the same time! This one was owned by a retired British professional. It probably dates from the 1950s, is made from gold brass and unlacquered. The horn has a screw bell with the inside plated with silver and screw ring is now quite worn through use. However – this is reflected in the price. It is also worth noting that the tuning slide has been shortened for tuning purposes This could be changed if necessary. Definitely worth having a blow on this one to see what you think! It comes in a suitcase style screw bell case.
