Description
This Schmid compensating triple F/Bb/Eb was played by principal horn of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Alec Frank-Gemmill. He describes it as the most versatile instrument he’s ever owned, having used it for recitals, concertos, chamber and symphonic repertoire. The famous lightness of the Schmid is perfectly off-set by the unusually dark tone quality of its sterling silver bell section. New these horns are the most expensive on the market but this one is available for half the price.
