The Paxman model 40 descant Bb/F alto has long been a favourite within the horn playing community. This example is a 1986 large bell, gold brass instrument – very helpful when aiming to make a full sound in the upper register on the high F side. This horn has lacquered with a screw bell and is being sold with a backpack case.
