Description

This is a real piece of horn design history. A Paxman full double built in 1962, predating the ever-popular Paxman 20. This lovely instrument is gold brass, fixed bell and unlacquered with a bell taper that is larger than a medium but not as large as the current large taper.

For its age this horn is in truly fantastic condition. All parts appear original, including the wonderful hand engraved Paxman logo on the bell spout. Valves still have good compression. A real pleasure to see the craftsmanship at the forefront of the Paxman reputation.

If you are interested in horn history then this might be one to add to your collection!

It comes with a fixed bell case.
