Paxman 20L
Large bore, screw bell and with lightweight titanium rotors.
This instrument was used by Tim Jones in the LSO from c. 2000 – 2010. He paired it with a silver plated yellow brass flare but it is sold here with a yellow one. We have regularly cared for this horn over the years and know it well.
While there is plenty of lacquer wear from use, there is no denying that this horn really can make a wonderful noise. It will have been heard on countless recordings and soundtracks. Inevitably it makes a big warm sound!
Sold with backpack case.
n.b. We cannot guarantee you will sound like an LSO player if you buy this horn but you’ll have fun trying!
