A compensating triple – this has all the benefits of full Bb and F sides, with an Eb alto side at the top and without getting too heavy. This would definitely reward trialling.
Yellow brass and M bore, fixed bell, lacquered.
In wonderful condition this will aid any player needing high security in the upper register. Don’t be put off by the Eb alto – the fingerings are almost identical to F alto and easily learned.
The new fingerings could be a lockdown project…!
